When I started putting together my website, davidwattsbarton.com, I checked Amazon to get a URL where I could send readers to listen to or even buy my album, Straight. I entered my name, and up popped…this!
The preorder for my forthcoming book!! I knew it was coming, but I didn’t know people could actually order it yet! (Things apparently can slip a publisher’s mind!)
I’ve been holding off announcing the book in any detail, but the cat is out of the bag: My first book, Japan from Anime to Zen, will be published on January 19, 2021! You can order it in either paperback or Kindle right here!
The book is a collection of pieces I’ve been writing over the last four years, during six extended stays in Japan. It covers, as the subtitle says, Quick Takes on Culture, Art, History, Food…and More.
